History
During the 1920s, the water-fronted Casablanca Bed and Breakfast served as a boarding house run by a woman who rented out the rooms to revenue agents during the Prohibition that banned alcoholic beverages in the USA. The agents were surprised that they did not catch any boats filled with rum that regularly came to the St. Augustine Harbor.
They eventually discovered that the woman was warning off the smugglers with lamp signals. Now, a ghostly light can be seen doing the exact same thing, swinging slowly back and forth.
