History
During World War I, bunkers were used to heal soldiers who had been injured during combat. The John McCrae Bunker is famous for its abundant haunts.
John McCrae, the famed author of In Flanders Fields (which was written in honor of his best friend, Alexis Helmer), had been sighted in the bunker. Though his friend Helmer died prior to McCrae, they had been reunited as spirits. McCrae had gone to a university to study medicine and become a doctor before the war, and he was stationed at the bunker to heal the injured. He contracted pneumonia, though he didn’t tell anyone. He was saving a soldier when he suddenly died.
Helmer, on the other hand, was a soldier that was stationed to fight in the war. He met his end with numerous shots when he died on the battlefield, despite the fact they took him to the bunker anyway. Visitors of the John McCrae Bunker have reported hearing gunshots echoing throughout the area.
In most cases, they have also seen the ghost of Alexis Helmer, riddled with bullet holes. Both men have had their full body apparitions appear.

what do you mean?
First off, I’m talking about me…hehe…it seems The Walking Dead is the first thing I’ve watched in a while that I pick up every detail…sometimes I miss the obvious in movies…one horror movie called “The Village” (it’s not very well known…but it’s really good). The main character was blind…and I some how managed to miss that until the very end…XD
