History
Sometime in 1986 or 1987, a stepfather was kicked out of his home for being extremely abusive. He lived in one of the two apartments located above Mac’s Café. One night, he returned with a shotgun and shot the windows and security door out of the apartments. When he entered the building, his stepson was ready for him and returned fire with his own gun at point-bank. He shot his stepfather in the neck and nearly decapitated him.
Now, he haunts the old bedroom and roams the building during the night hours. One eyewitness, a three-year-old boy, begged his mother to “tell that man to stop bothering him at night”. Those who visit Mac’s Café have reported hearing weird noises coming from the upstairs apartment, and they have experienced odd occurrences in the lower level.
Weeks after the stepfather was killed, a pencil-drawn pentagram with the mother’s face drawn into it was found on the backside of the door to the stepson’s room. The mother was never harmed. On numerous occasions, the man appears in full-body apparition, and he has even been mistaken for a living person. He is seen wearing hiking boots, jeans, and a flannel shirt. Oddly, live snakes have appeared in the apartment for no apparent reason. The restaurant is now closed.
