The Russell Cave National Monument was a sacred burial site that is at least 10,000 years old. Burial rituals included throwing bodies off cliffs, burying the dead burial mounts, and elaborate tombs. Those who have meditated in the cave claim to have felt a large amount of struggle and evolution inside of it.
