History
The Pratt Greenhouse was abandoned shortly after a fire that damaged part of it. The 204-acre estate used to belong to Harold Irving Pratt, who was the son of the oil magnate and philanthropist Charles Pratt. On the property, the estate includes a Georgian-style mansion, a former recreational building that is currently being used by the Nassau County Holocaust Committee, and several other small service buildings.

Have there been any reports of paranormal incidents at this location? I was there a year ago and had to leave immediately, due to unexplained feelings I experienced in specifically one spot near the “Children’s Garden” which is now part of the Holocaust Museum. I’ve been trying to find out if something specific happened there to cause a haunting.
I’m not sure whether or not it is. Thank you for asking. I’ll let you know if I find any information regarding the paranormal. Apologies for the late response.
