History
The playhouse, known as Epperson Hall, of the University of Missouri in Kansas City is believed to be haunted by a manager who died in the stage manager’s arms in the lobby some time in 1957. Now, reports of hearing footsteps and feeling her presence have been shared.
Prior to its time as a university, the location was a house that belonged to a local businessman and his daughter-in-law. The daughter-in-law committed suicide in the attic shortly after she was banned from dating a dock worker. Today, both police and students alike have reported apparitions, cold spots, and lights turning on and off by themselves.
