History
According to urban legend, a bus filled with kids fell off the Attalla Wood Bridge, killing the passengers either upon impact or from drowning. It’s said that if you put your car in neutral and have the front of the car on the right side, the ghosts of the children will push your vehicle across so you won’t suffer the same fate. A similar phenomenon in San Antonio, Texas was investigated on SyFy Channel’s Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files. The phantom pushing turned out to be gravity from a slightly-sloped downhill road. Drivers had also reported seeing handprints in the baby powder they poured on afterwards to show it had been pushed, but the show’s investigators proved it was the result of the powder picking up oils from the owner’s hands. It is possible the haunting of Attalla Wood Bridge has the same explanation.
